FMRM University Brawijaya Successfully Completed The Visiting Professor 2023 Program
The visiting professor (hibah dosen asing) program lasted for approximately 3 months and was carried out online and offline (29 August – 30 November 2023).

Malang, JatimUPdate.id,- Depatment Of Fisheries And Marine Resources Management (FMRM) Faculty Of Fisheries And Marine Science University Brawijaya Successfully Completed The Visiting Professor 20223 Program.

The visiting professor (hibah dosen asing) program lasted for approximately 3 months and was carried out online and offline (29 August – 30 November 2023).

The opening and guest lecture agenda was held online on September 14th, 2023. The lecturer invited to this event was Assoc. Prof. T.S. Dr. Nurul Huda from the Faculty of Sustainable Agriculture, University Malaysia Sabah (UMS).

The aims of this program were to improve the learning process quality as well as the quality of research in Dept of Fisheries and Marine Resources Management (FMRM). Hopefully, the program would increase the competitiveness of the Department at the international level both academically and in terms of human resources.

The series of activities carried out during the program were as follows: Curriculum Reconstruction; Lectures at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels; Guest Lectures; Focus Group Discussion with the theme of the Education system in Malaysia; Improving the Quality of Research with activities in the form of supervising undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students' theses/dissertations; Increasing the Quality of Research through activities in the form of Dissemination of Joint Research Results.

Participants involved in various activities include FFMS UB teaching staff, undergraduate, master's and doctoral students. The FMRM department has gained many benefits from this program. The FMRM Department hopes that there will be a similar program in the future to upgrade the education system at FFMS and the FMRM department through collaboration with leading universities in the world.
